Nuss Hotel

Location
Buenos Aires, Argentina

In Palermo Soho, one of Buenos Aires’ most vibrant neighborhoods, this boutique hotel is in a restored former convent on a black cobblestone street. Cafés, restaurants, boutiques and art galleries bring the area to life, while Plaza Serrano and its weekend markets are a short walk away. Set on a corner lot, the two-story white façade is trimmed with black awnings. Inside, the sleek lobby has wood floors, sofas, and glass and concrete accents, while river rocks and tropical plants fill the bright central courtyard.

Spacious rooms are decorated in pale, neutral tones, with wood floors, patterned wallpaper, desks, seating areas and large windows overlooking the city or courtyard. Each has a king bed or two twin beds, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The lobby’s casual dining area faces the lively streets and serves breakfast, as well as light bites throughout the day. Long rows of dining tables are flanked by bench seating and plush pillows. On the rooftop, a pool with a fountain feature is shaded by mature trees and surrounded by sun loungers and colorful patio furniture. To reduce its environmental impact, the hotel uses LED lighting, low-flow toilets and refillable toiletries. Irrigation is scheduled to minimize evaporation, and a recycling program helps reduce waste.
