Ngala Tented Camp is one of few authentic canvas tented accommodations in South Africa’s Greater Kruger Park. Nestled in its own private reserve, crowds and vehicles will never suppress the sights and sounds of the wildlife, ensuring a peaceful stay in seclusion.

Ngala Camp is comprised of 9-tented suites, each raised on a wooden platform overlooking a seasonal riverbed. Enjoy your morning cup of tea on your private veranda and possibly catch a glimpse of elephant or impala grazing nearby. Air conditioning, en suite bathrooms with freestanding bathtubs and private outdoor showers, soft linens, and cozy furniture are splendors included to enhance your stay. The main areas of the campsite consist of spacious lounges with views of the river. At dusk and twilight, the ambiance radiates with elegant romance as the lanterns glow around you. Meals are served in the open-air dining area, or on your private deck upon request. In between safari excursions, you may even be tempted to take a dip in the swimming pool. Though regardless of your location within the camp, the endemic animals will always be close by to welcome you to their lands.
