Just outside Bangor, The Lucerne Inn is set high atop a hill with 360-degree views of the surrounding forested countryside. With unpretentious New England charm, this boutique hotel offers 31 guestrooms in a renovated 200-year-old farmhouse. Its white colonial façade is adorned with black shutters and dormers, set against a large expanse of grassy lawn.
