Hanalei Bay Resort enjoys one of the most striking settings in Hawaii on Kauai's gorgeous North Shore. The beachfront condominium hotel sits atop a high bluff that terraces down to sea's edge, overlooking Hanalei Bay, emerald-green mountains and the distant spire of Bali Hai. We stay in 1,100-square-foot one-bedroom suites with separate master bedroom and full bath, a full kitchen, and a private lanai. The resort grounds feature gorgeous tropical gardens, blooming flowers and swaying palm trees, as well as a swimming pool named by Fodor's as "one of the best on Kauai, with authentic lava-rock waterfalls, an open-air hot tub and stunning views of Hanalei Bay and the Na Pali Coast: the architects used this setting to great effect, by building the resort angling down the cliffs, with the pool as the crown jewel."
