Situated at the confluence of the Zambezi and Chongwe rivers, Chongwe River Camp offers extraordinary luxury in the heart of the bush. The camp's nine tents offer light, airy and spacious rooms with either king-sized or two single beds. Each tent has a large outdoor bathroom with hot and cold running water, shower, toilet, vanity unit and dressing area. Private verandas overlooking the river are an ideal place for relax and contemplate the wonders of the wilderness. Chongwe River House sleeps eight in four spacious en-suite bedrooms, creating an ideal safari base for a family or a group of friends wanting a private experience. The sitting room furniture is carved from a single fallen winter thorn tree, while colored pebbles from the river decorate the ceilings. Rooms feature king-sized beds and magnificent views of the bush or the river. Bathrooms include waterfall showers and exquisite basins carved from wood and white marble by the Zambian artist Eddie Mumba. The house also comes fully staffed with a guide, house manager and private chef.
