Explore the Wonders of the World's Largest Rain Forest on Our Peruvian Jungle Voyage
"We loved it all. The local guides were incredible and all the excursions blew us away. Their knowledge and incredible spotting ability made a great trip even better. One of our fellow travelers even recorded 29 species in one two-hour outing. The guides also had a huge respect and warmth for the local people. And I can't say enough about our Expedition Leader, Renzo. The man has incredible patience, kindness and generosity. A total professional."
"For us, the majesty and expanse of the Amazon and visiting the villages of the people who live there was the most amazing part of the trip. The opportunity to visit with these people and their children made the trip an exceptional experience. Having local guides gave us even more insight into the local culture. The small details that were woven into the post-trip extension to Cusco-Machu Picchu made it way beyond expectations. There was nothing about this entire trip that we didn’t enjoy."
"Both of the leaders were outstanding. We were so impressed by not only their knowledge of the Amazon, culture and animals, but also their compassion and commitment to share their country with us."
"There are so many things to choose from, when trying to pinpoint what was the best part of the trip. The village school trip where we interacted with the children - Usiel having us teach the kids the Hokey Pokey and Itsy Bitsy spider- where else but with Nat Hab. Kayaking on the Amazon. Seeing the Southern Cross for the first time in a sky so close and clear I felt like I could touch the stars. And the animals, a two-toed sloth up close - an anaconda, fishing for piraña. Night time on the river. The amazing guides and naturalists. The shaman blessing. THE ICED FACE CLOTHS AT THE END OF A HOT EXPEDITION! I also just want to say this was my 6th Nat Hab trip. As always you have exceeded my expectations. I tell everyone I know about you - your values and the difference I believe you make in the world."
"This is my third trip with Nat Hab and I can’t say enough about them. I enjoyed learning so much about the Amazon culture, seeing so much wildlife, and having such knowledgeable trip leaders on the trip. Nat Hab takes the time to have leaders who care about the environment on these trips. It is refreshing to see this in action."
D. Goudy "Tough to say what I enjoyed most. It was just the whole experience of being in a part of the world that fascinated (and maybe scared) me since I was a kid. Nat Hab, Renzo, Dennis and the guides made my dream about being on the Amazon a reality and a high point in my life. Renzo is that rare Expedition Leader whose energy and love of the natural world is boundless. His enthusiasm about the many varied aspects of the Peruvian Amazon is infectious and motivates the traveler to learn more and to participate in all activities in which he is a part. He is a delight to know and I came home feeling privileged to have gotten to know him and the world he so obviously loves. I was pleasantly surprised by the extent to which Renzo and Nat Hab went to make certain we had a wonderful time and were totally safe. I was absolutely impressed by with the provision of walking sticks and the care given to our footwear after being out in the rain and in the villages and jungle. The food was just incredible. The meal experience became a life lesson on the nature of Peruvian cooking, something I have now come to believe has been kept secret a little too long."
"The Amazon is a magical place- the setting, the wildlife, the people, the river itself. This was one of my best travel experiences. Nicest and most spacious ship I’ve ever been on."
"Loved everything about this trip. As always we are so impressed with Nat Hab. I guess that is why people you meet on these adventures have all traveled with you before. We cannot say enough about how well organized every aspect of these trips are and what a
pleasure to have a smooth trip. We love these Nat Hab trips. Thank you."
