Will ConnollyOperations Coordinator—Canada
Will grew up in Colorado, where his thirst for adventure began at an early age. A childhood trip to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem helped shape that path—he caught his first fish, saw his first grizzly bear and began a lifelong journey to visit every U.S. national park.
That desire to travel continued into adulthood. Will studied journalism at the University of Northern Colorado and had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, traveling to Portugal, Italy, Germany, France and England along the way.
After graduating, Will pivoted to a more predictable career path and discovered an aptitude for sales. With each new role, he moved closer to work that highlighted his strengths and aligned with his goals of helping others and supporting the protection of the natural world.
Will has traveled twice to Churchill, Manitoba, where he observed polar bears waiting for sea ice to form and experienced the northern lights. In a single day, he witnessed mothers with cubs, yearlings, sparring males and a polar bear placing its massive paws on a Polar Rover. He looks forward to returning to Churchill during the summer to see beluga whales (completing the trifecta!).
Will remains based in Colorado and enjoys exploring wild places whenever possible.
