Kristyn Fenton

As she rolled her bike to a stop on the top of the Austrian hillside, Kristyn couldn’t believe what she was doing. Here she was, leading bike trips through Europe. As. A. Job. Her heart and soul belonged out on the open road. Desk jobs could never again hold her interest. And then, she found Nat Hab.

Being born in Boulder, Colorado, sets you up to be an avid lover of the outdoors. Kristyn had the best of both worlds—a crazy itch to explore the world and a love of her home mountains. She attended Vanderbilt University largely because its French program was located in Aix-en-Provence, one of the most beautiful parts of France. After college, she lived and worked abroad for ten years in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Bermuda.

She did try her hand at those traditional desk jobs, but she quickly grew bored of the legal and tech industries. At Nat Hab, Kristyn is still able to be a “travel guide.” But instead of leading her guests on a bike, she takes their hands and enthusiastically guides them to their next bucket-list adventure!

When Kristyn is not chatting with travelers about how to make their lifelong dream come true to see the northern lights or photograph leopard cubs in Botswana, you will find her hiking, biking, skiing and exploring her mountains with her adventure partner and love of her life, her husband Ken!

Whether you are dancing along with a Blue-footed booby, swimming with penguins, or lounging on the beach with sea lions, the Galapagos opens its arms wide for you to meet a bunch of new wildlife friends!A few years after college, I traded the Washington, DC desk job for a chance to lead bike trips through Czech Republic, Austria, Holland and France. Showing someone a new country by the power of their own pedal stroke is oh-so-magical.How can a mountain girl live on a the tiny island of Bermuda for five years? Pink sand and turquoise water…Before heading into the Botswana dry climate for a wildlife safari trip with Nat Hab, we were able to soak in the views at Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)! One of the best days in my entire life! Ken and I got married in Glacier National Park and spent the entire week hiking through gorgeous mountain lakes and peaks! There is no way to explain how magnificent it is to see the polar bears up close on Nat Hab’s rovers out on the tundra! You just have to experience it for yourself! My husband Ken and I love to explore new areas by way of our own two feet! We hiked a hut to hut trail through France, Italy and Switzerland to circumnavigate Mont Blanc. Peaks. Glaciers. Lakes. Amazing! My mom and I did a girls trip though Italy, hiking along the Amalfi Coast, but you don’t have to travel oversees to soak in some beautiful views! Our national parks are a gateway to many fun adventures! I loved seeing my mom’s face light up as we hiked around Yosemite!
