Swimming and sailing along the shores of southeastern Connecticut, along with treasured summers at Sebago Lake in Maine, first sparked Jessie's love of nature. At 13, a trip to Mexico ignited her passion for adventure travel.

Drawn by curiosity and a desire to explore new places, Jessie headed west for college in Colorado, earning a bachelor's degree in Spanish from Colorado State University and a master's degree in multicultural and bilingual education from the University of Colorado Boulder. Chasing fluency and further adventure, she lived and taught in Cuernavaca, Mexico, before teaching in Fort Lupton and eventually settling in the Boulder area, where she spent several years as an elementary educator. She later refined her operational expertise as a project coordinator for a residential design and construction firm.

Jessie's favorite travel experiences include visiting a butterfly sanctuary in Mexico, hiking the mountains near Granada, Spain, exploring the ancient Maya city of Tikal in Guatemala, reconnecting with relatives in Denmark and marveling at Iceland's dramatic landscapes. More recently, she discovered a love of birding in Costa Rica and was inspired by the wildlife and towering mountains of Alaska during a family trip.

Now living in Louisville, Colorado, Jessie enjoys helping travelers experience the natural world while supporting Nat Hab's operations. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, gardening, practicing hot yoga, walking with friends and spending time with her husband, their dog and her two adult children whenever possible.
