Claudia Mancilla Field Operations Specialist - Mexico
Born and raised in Mexico City, she was already on treakins in her father's backpack-chair even before she could walk. Her father, by the way, was a great explorer in his time, and he passed that passion on to Claudia.

On each excursion, in addition to the adventure, she has always made good friends. She studied Biology - Pharmaceutical Chemistry with a specialization in Food Chemistry and a postgraduate degree in Psychotherapy. She has taught at all levels. She has worked combining her three passions: science, nature, and people, both in industry and in training (leadership through rope courses for 20 years).
Since 2013, she has worked at Natural Habitat Adventures as a field operations specialist, coordinating the logistics of Monarch Butterfly tours in Mexico Her hobbies—traveling, reading, and hiking—are currently enjoyed with her daughter Ximena and her friends.
