Tsoa Andriamora2026
Tsoa was born and raised in Antananarivo, Madagascar's capital. Growing up surrounded by the island’s remarkable biodiversity, he developed a lifelong fascination with wildlife and the natural world.
As a child, Tsoa often accompanied his father to their family’s rice paddies. While his father and other workers tended the fields, Tsoa spent hours exploring the surrounding wetlands and grassy areas, searching for frogs, insects and other small creatures. Near his home, a wooded valley became another favorite place to explore with friends. There, he encountered many of Madagascar’s unique species for the first time, including the unforgettable moment he saw a chameleon change the vibrant colors of its skin.
After high school, Tsoa enrolled in a tourism training program where he studied guiding. He began working as a naturalist guide in 2007 and has led adventures across Madagascar ever since.
Specializing in the island’s biodiversity, cultures and conservation efforts, Tsoa enjoys introducing travelers to the wildlife and landscapes of his homeland. Through responsible tourism and interpretation, he hopes to inspire a deeper appreciation for Madagascar’s unique ecosystems and the importance of protecting them.
Outside of guiding, Tsoa enjoys music, wildlife and conservation documentaries and do-it-yourself projects. He lives with his wife, Adriana, and their two children, Andy and Kanto, and values spending time together as a family.
