Eleni was born and raised in Athens with a deep connection to her family’s roots in the Peloponnese. Greek philosophy was never merely ancient history; its ideas were woven into her daily life. Olive trees, rural traditions and the rhythms of the seasons shaped her earliest relationship with nature, and seeing how a simple harvest can reveal generations of knowledge inspired her fascination with extra virgin olive oil.

Growing up as the child of Deaf parents also attuned Eleni to the many ways people communicate and connect. Fluent in Greek Sign Language and competent in five foreign languages, she is intrigued by words and the layers of meaning they carry. After studying International Relations, she worked as a political analyst and later brought that curiosity to travel design, led by her belief that nature and culture are inseparable and that meaningful connections require time.

As a long-distance runner, hiker and swimmer, Eleni feels most at home on Greece’s mountain trails, coastal paths and open water. She favors unhurried travel through remote villages, working farms, mainland routes and islands. Based in Athens, she embraces the same philosophy in daily life, living car-free and traveling the city on foot. Family is equally central to her life as a mother of three daughters.
