Blair Jones2026
Blair was born and raised in Texas, where her love for the natural world began at an early age. Inspired by her father and uncle, she developed a deep appreciation for wildlife and wild places. After earning her Bachelor of Science in wildlife biology, she quickly began seasonal fieldwork, launching a career rooted in conservation and hands-on experience.
At 16, Blair took her first solo international trip to the Galapagos Islands—an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for travel and exploration. Since then, her career has taken her across diverse ecosystems, working with species ranging from prairie dogs and coyotes to chimpanzees and wild pigs.
Blair has spent summers guiding in Yellowstone and Grand Teton, leading black bear tours in Ketchikan and working as a bear safety guide among coastal brown bears in the small village of Hoonah, Alaska. Her work blends science, storytelling and stewardship, creating meaningful connections between people and wildlife.
Blair spends her winters in the Florida Keys and her summers in Alaska. She is deeply passionate about wildlife conservation and photography, and nothing brings her more joy than witnessing someone see a bear for the first time—or watching that moment spark a lasting commitment to protecting the wild places she loves.
