Andrea grew up in a small village in northern Italy, where he spent his childhood exploring the countryside between the Venice Lagoon and the Dolomitic Alps. Raised in a farming family, he developed an early appreciation for the land, wildlife and rural traditions that shaped his surroundings.

His interests in biodiversity, photography, history and archaeology led him to travel widely from a young age. Andrea is currently studying conservation and management of cultural heritage at the University of Venice, with a specialization in archaeology.

His professional experience has taken him across several continents. In South America, he worked as an animal rehabilitator in the Amazon and Andes, gaining firsthand experience with wildlife trafficking and conservation. In Australia, he cared for marsupials and reptiles in zoological parks and educated visitors in multiple languages. After returning to Italy, Andrea became a certified naturalist guide and an official Dolomites National Park guide. He also teaches environmental education to students from preschool through high school.

Having visited nearly 60 countries, Andrea brings a broad international perspective to his work. He guides throughout Italy and other parts of Europe, drawing on his knowledge of landscapes, biodiversity, history, culture and gastronomy to help travelers better understand the places they visit.

From his native Veneto to destinations across Europe, Andrea enjoys connecting travelers with the wildlife, heritage and traditions that give each region its character—always guided by his philosophy: “Life is a trip; traveling is living twice.”
