No adventure to India would be complete without a chance to view its most storied cultural treasure, the fabulous Taj Mahal. Our Agra extension includes two visits to the monument to capitalize on early-morning and late-day light. Agra is also famous for its magisterial fort, the 16th-century walled city built of red sandstone that was the center of the Mughal Empire for many decades before it was moved back to Delhi. We will also have the opportunity to tour and photograph this impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site.
