The Raja Ampat Archipelago has the world’s greatest concentration of marine life – making it a fantastic snorkeling site.

Raja Ampat is also an area where WWF is conducting conservation research and where it runs an annual snorkeling expedition for interested travelers.

Check out this underwater footage from a WWF monitoring expedition to Raja Ampat, Indonesia in the Coral Triangle. You’ll see researchers placing transects for coral monitoring as colorful fish swim by and a dizzying array of corals and other marine life covering the ocean floor.
