We’re thrilled to announce that our film Exploring the Okavango | A Botswana Traveler Story has been selected as a finalist for the Adventure Travel Trade Association’s 2022 Adventure in Motion Short Film Contest!

This intensely personal film features recent Nat Hab traveler Jan Cochran and her life-changing experience with lions, elephants and African wild dogs on a Botswana safari in southern Africa and is featured alongside nine other finalists. It’s a top-three finalist in the “Adventure Needs Women” category.

Cast your vote by August 19 at adventure.travel/adventure-in-motion. On August 25, the votes will be tallied and the top three films will be selected and featured at the Adventure Travel World Summit in Lugano, Switzerland, on October 5, where a live audience will vote on their favorite film, crowning the winner of the 2022 Adventure in Motion film contest.

We couldn’t be prouder of our team’s dedicated work and their vision for this film or to be in such wonderful company with other organizations and filmmakers like Switzerland Tourism, Heliconia, Visit Greenland, GLP Films, Reserva Las Torres Patagonia, The Explorean Hotels, Futurismo Azores Adventures and Timmins Productions.

Don’t forget to vote in the “Adventure Needs Women” category by August 19 to help us bring awareness to this unique (and uniquely threated) area of the planet, as well as the need to support women in both the adventure travel and filmmaking industries!
