t and l worlds best

It seems like the Galapagos Islands are rarely out of the news these days for long. Earlier this month, for example, Travel + Leisure  released its 2015 World’s Best Awards and the archipelago was number one in the islands category. The awards, which are given out based on a survey of the magazine’s readers, cover a variety of categories including cruise lines, cities, hotels, and, of course, islands.

This is the third time in the 20 year history of the awards that the Galapagos Islands have snagged the number one spot on the list of best islands. The Galapagos received an overall score of 90.82. Bali, which took the number two spot, earned a score of 88.98.
