The 130-foot M/V Aqua Amazon is one of the first true luxury cruise vessels on the northern Amazon River in Peru. Built in 2007, it was custom-designed by Peruvian architect and interior designer Jordi Puig to offer an extraordinary level of comfort while exploring one of the planet's most remote and wild tracts of tropical wilderness. The Aqua Amazon can accommodate a maximum of 24 guests plus crew. This luxury ship is the perfect size for cruising the Amazon River, providing an inviting lounge, elegant dining room, exceptionally well-appointed sleeping accommodations, and state-of-the-art navigation technologies and safety standards. A contemporary design aesthetic prevails throughout. The Aqua Amazon’s 12 oversized staterooms feature en suite bathrooms, spacious sitting areas and generous picture windows offering panoramic river views. Each of the handsomely decorated, air-conditioned guest suites measures approximately 240 square feet. Four of these suites can be interconnected to cater to families or groups.
