Opened in late 2012, the Kunzang Shing Resort is a new 4-star hotel that's beautifully situated in the Punakha Valley on a high rocky ledge above the Punatsangchu River. The small luxury hotel's 18 rooms feature warm natural wood beams, walls and floors, with heavy rugs. They are furnished with a comfortable king-sized or two double beds and modern en suite marble bathrooms.
