In Quito we stay at the Hilton Colon, selected specifically for comfort and convenience after a long flight. A luxury hotel in the city’s financial district, it is located across the street from a large park with a weekly crafts market. Upon arrival you enter the hotel’s grand foyer with a view of the park just outside the expansive windows. The Hilton Colon has 399 rooms and suites, with air conditioning, hair dryers and in-room safes, along with many other first-class hotel amenities to assure a comfortable stay. The hotel has three restaurants to choose from, and a fitness room and indoor and outdoor swimming pools for those with free time for recreation.

Towering mountains and volcanoes surround the high-altitude city of Quito, while lies at 9,000 feet, enjoying a climate of 'perpetual spring.' The city's rich history, well-preserved Old Town and prominent landmarks have earned it status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
