Boshra
Location
Nile River, Egypt
Travel aboard The Boshra, an intimate eight-cabin dahabiya that offers a slower, quieter way to experience the Nile. Unlike larger cruise ships, a dahabiya has no onboard engine, allowing guests to drift peacefully along the river under sail when conditions allow or be gently towed when needed. Its smaller size also provides access to places beyond the reach of larger vessels, allowing for a quieter, more immersive experience along the Nile as you pass Egypt's ancient temples and riverside villages.
Inspired by Egypt's landscapes and artistic traditions, The Boshra reflects a contemporary interpretation of local design through custom textiles, artwork, natural materials and native plants. Meals celebrate regional cuisine, while shared indoor and outdoor spaces invite guests to relax, watch life unfold along the riverbanks and enjoy the unhurried rhythm of travel on the Nile.
Designed with sustainability in mind, The Boshra emphasizes locally sourced materials and cuisine while following a plastic-reduction approach that minimizes unnecessary single-use plastics wherever practical.
