Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

This is primarily a flatwater kayaking trip with little to no current
Walks are generally leisurely through vineyards or country trails
In poor weather, hiking may replace kayaking and involve gentle rolling hills; walks range from 1–3 miles
Travel by van or train
Transport is mostly on paved roads, with some well-maintained dirt roads
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers or canes
Generally warm, dry and sunny; daytime temps range from 65–90°F
Evenings and mornings cool to the low 50s–60s°F
Water temps typically hover around 70–75°F
Strong wind and light rain showers possible on the river; storms are infrequent but can occur
