Physical Requirements

At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

  • Most walks are at a leisurely pace with guided interpretation and will be escorted by two guides

  • Terrain includes dirt paths, pavement, and grass fields, sometimes including rolling hills and wet or soggy stretches

  • On some walks, travelers may need to step up and over a wooden stile—a low barrier that restricts livestock but allows human passage—which may require good knee and hip mobility, although the assistance of a stepstool and guide will be available
