Jimmy Nguyen
After graduating from UC Berkeley with a degree in U.S. history and a minor in English, he worked at a law firm in Los Angeles for a few years before realizing that the office grind wasn't for him. He found a Teaching English (TESOL) course in Costa Rica, booked a flight to San Jose, and never looked back.
For the next few years, Jimmy taught English as a Second Language to students of all levels while living in Costa Rica and then China. Upon his return to the U.S., he entered the field of student travel, leading high school students on summer service programs to Baltimore and Washington, DC. After a short semester of teaching in Japan, Jimmy returned to student travel and worked to provide students of all ages with unique and transformative experiences in destinations such as New Orleans, Vietnam, Cambodia and California's High Sierra. In this arena, Jimmy found and developed his passion for operations, logistics and "making things happen."
Through his work and personal travel, Jimmy has been fortunate enough to travel to destinations across the U.S., Central America and Asia. Outside of his duties as an Operations Coordinator at Nat Hab, you can often find Jimmy getting lost in a book, hiking a local trail in Orange County, making a mess in the kitchen or planning his next adventure (be it near or far).
