Erica Anderson
A few years later, Erica relocated to Australia, where she worked for the national carrier, Qantas, for 18 years. She spent her tenure in Hobart, Tasmania and Sydney, before returning to New Zealand in 2015. Back home, she continued her work with 'The Flying Kangaroo' in a senior customer management role. When Qantas shut down during the pandemic, Erica seized the opportunity to retrain as a florist, specializing in locally grown, environmentally-friendly blooms. Despite this shift, the allure of travel remained strong. Joining Nat Hab's Travel Team fulfilled a long-held dream and filled her 'green heart' with joy. She relishes using her extensive airline knowledge and guest-centric approach to craft itineraries that make the journey as enjoyable as the destination.
Erica now resides in a quaint village in Otago on New Zealand's South Island. She is painstakingly restoring a 150-year-old house while enjoying gardening, spending time with her family and exploring parts of New Zealand that she has yet to discover. She draws peace from New Zealand's natural environment, which keeps her grounded and grateful. Her favorite travel destination is Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland, particularly in the depths of winter. This is closely followed by the highlands and islands of Scotland and Cape Town, South Africa.
