Wildlife Photography After Dark

Many of the world’s most alluring wild animals are nocturnal—most active at night—but nighttime photography is notoriously challenging, even for experienced photographers. Get essential tips in our instructional webinar with professional photographer and Expedition Leader Richard de Gouveia. Aspiring and experienced photographers alike will benefit from this immersive lesson on how best to use your camera to capture wild wonders in the darkness. Richard will teach you proven techniques for taking pictures that effectively portray your subject in the absence of light, such as light painting. Learn about the equipment and camera settings you’ll need to compose compelling images at night, including stabilization strategies and tips to choose the ideal aperture, exposure, focus and ISO. Although Richard will primarily be teaching about nighttime safari photography, these lessons can also be applied to any low-light or dark conditions. After this in-depth seminar, you’ll be ready to capture exciting images on your next nocturnal expedition.
