Stories from the Trail: Memorable Bears of Glacier

Spending 20 years exploring a national park full of charismatic grizzlies, crazy moose, miles of untracked wilderness, and winds so strong they can blow you off a trail along the Continental Divide…it leaves a person with a lot of stories to tell! That’s the case for Expedition Leader Jeremy Covert, who has built a career as a naturalist guide sharing the wonders of Montana’s Glacier National Park. In today’s presentation, Jeremy shares some of his personal stories and images with a special focus on bears, for which Glacier is globally known. Meet some of his favorites, and hear about bear antics and misbehaviors that have left an indelible imprint on Jeremy’s memory as well as the guests who have traveled with him. He’ll weave in info about Glacier’s geography, geology and other distinctive flora and fauna as he regales you with stories of up-close and personal experiences with bears.
