Follow one wild tiger’s journey across human-dominated landscapes in India, as told through a personal story from Expedition Leader Aditya Panda. Aditya tracked this Bengal tiger from a forest he’s been helping to protect throughout his wildlife career. A naturalist who specializes in big cats, Aditya will explain how tigers migrate across such great distances and why large carnivores require large, unbroken travel corridors for survival. You’ll gain a greater understanding of tiger ecology, along with an overview of the conservation challenges these wild cats face in densely populated countries like India. Aditya will highlight some success stories from his more than 15 years of active involvement in wildlife conservation, describing how India’s tiger conservation efforts have created some of the world’s best opportunities to see these big cats in the wild.
