Let’s Go: Women in the Wild

“We want to create a space for women who are ready for the next big adventure of their lives, where they can feel empowered to be themselves in some of the wildest places on the planet”—this is veteran Expedition Leader Annie Van Dinther’s vision that’s inspired Nat Hab’s Women-Only Departures, immersive nature trips designed specifically for female travelers. These empowering adventures are led by women Expedition Leaders, skilled naturalists and outdoor explorers eager to share their knowledge of natural and cultural history with fellow women. Annie and fellow Expedition Leader Heather Chrystie will share the story behind the development of these Women-Only Departures, explain why they are so special, and describe the destinations these trips are being offered in. Annie and Heather guided our first Women-Only Northern Lights & Arctic Cultures expedition in Churchill, Manitoba, in February 2020—shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic brought global travel to a halt. Now, they are thrilled to be building on that success by creating additional Women-Only Departures to witness the northern lights, monarch butterflies, polar bears and tigers through a female lens. After watching this webinar, you’ll be excited to join the camaraderie of exploration alongside like-minded women in a supportive small group.
