In this webinar series, Annie Van Dinther interviews Expedition Leaders from around the world to discover the heart of the places they love and call home. Her quest is to take you on a journey with our guides, via stories and photographs, that leaves you feeling like you’ve been there. In this episode, join Expedition Leader Renzo Zeppilli, a native Peruvian, on a journey into the verdant recesses of the Amazon Basin. Once Renzo attained a degree in nature tourism management and became a licensed naturalist guide, he pursued his first guiding forays in southeast Peru, within the intense biodiversity of the Upper Amazon rain forest. While his guiding pursuits have since covered the gamut of South America, the Amazon remains his heart’s wild home. Renzo leads Nat Hab’s voyages to the headwaters of the mighty river, revealing the wonders of Peru’s vast Pacaya Samiria Reserve with its mirror lagoons, blackwater creeks and dense canopy, teeming with monkeys, macaws, caimans, pink river dolphins and so much more.
