Africa is home to 2,366 different bird species, and two-thirds of those are endemic – found on no other continent. The way these birds have adapted to survive and thrive in widely varied habitats – from dense rain forest to vast savanna and stark desert – is astonishing. Matt and Rich share more examples of remarkable bird adaptations, nothing that some of our most impressive human accomplishments have been inspired by birds.
