The Namibian desert is one of the driest places on earth. Towering sand dunes, arid riverbeds that are parched for much of the year, and a relentless, blazing sun make Namibia appear utterly inhospitable at first glance. But look more closely and you will discover its stark landscapes are teeming with life. Elephant, rhino, hyena, lion and more have adapted to survive and thrive in these harsh conditions. Hear from Expedition Leader Brad Josephs about the critical adaptations that wild animals have made that allow them to subsist in this extreme environment, and how approaches to conservation also have to adapt in a place where the animals need to range over a large area to meet their needs.
