During summer in the Canadian subarctic, more than 3,000 friendly beluga whales congregate in the mouth of the Churchill River along Hudson Bay. Dip into this virtual adventure on the river and tundra during our webinar presented by Nat Hab Expedition Leader Moira Le Patourel. Get up close via Zodiac and kayak...and learn about a chance to snorkel with the whales when you come to Churchill with us. Gain an appreciation for the tundra and taiga forests that are home to other wildlife that roam the area too, including caribou, Arctic fox, Arctic hare and polar bears, along with scores of migratory birds. We explore this wilderness from the town of Churchill, a frontier town that’s inaccessible by road, and always a highlight. Once a Hudson Bay Company fur trading post, it remains a hub for several different northern cultures and the base camp for our Arctic summer adventure. Join us for a virtual expedition!
