WEBINAR | Step Ashore: Experience Alaskan
Brown Bears Up Close

To see Alaska’s giant brown bears in the wild is a coveted dream for any wildlife lover…but to do it away from crowds, in solitude, and up close on foot is an incomparable thrill. You can’t imagine just how close you’ll get until you see for yourself during this webinar with Expedition Leader Brad Josephs, Nat Hab’s premier bear naturalist. Join Brad in the roadless wilderness of Katmai National Park, which we access via our chartered small ship…and discover that you can come safely within feet of the world’s largest coastal grizzlies! Just eight guests sail aboard the Natural Habitat Ursus, following the scenic Katmai coastline in southwest Alaska in search of abundant brown bears. They’re totally nonchalant about our presence, busy feasting on fish and clams, while cubs sometimes frolic and roughhouse nearby. The photo opportunities are simply matchless, and our guests who have joined this trip have described it as “life-changing.”
