Terrain includes dirt and stone paths, sometimes on uneven ground, and urban walkways that may be busy with local traffic
For walks longer than 2 miles, shorter alternatives may be available and all walks are optional
Travel by private coach, high-speed bullet train (Shinkansen), and water taxi
Vehicle seats may feel small to some travelers, as they are designed to local size standards
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs or walkers
Travelers must be fully mobile with good balance and be physically independent

The Tateyama Foothills are often 5-10 degrees cooler than lower elevations. Guests should pack layers to prepare for the day spent here
Highest elevation reached is approximately 9,800 ft in the Tateyama Mountains. We will spend approximately 3 hours at this elevation
