Renata HaasSenior Vice President of Adventures - North America
Renata’s connection to the natural world began in the woods and lakes of Wisconsin, where early adventures sparked a curiosity that would shape her career. At Colorado College, she studied Environmental Science and African Studies, exploring how ecosystems and human communities are deeply intertwined. A semester in Tanzania studying wildlife biology sealed her conviction that travel can educate, inspire and drive conservation.
As Senior Vice President of Adventures – North America, Renata leads operations across Alaska, Canada, U.S. National Parks and Mexico. Her work centers on delivering exceptional guest experiences, while cultivating a high-performing, values-driven team. She is deeply committed to building deeper connections in the locations where we run programs, empowering local communities and working to raise the bar on new and exciting ways to experience our natural world.
Over the years, she’s tracked polar bears in Churchill, kayaked among belugas, stood beside brown bears in Alaska, hiked along Greenland’s icefield and watched lionesses stalk the savanna in Tanzania. These encounters continue to deepen her commitment to conservation and shape the experiences she helps design.
Renata believes that connecting people with wild places is one of the most powerful tools we have to protect wilderness. She’s driven to push the boundaries of what conservation travel can accomplish—through thoughtful operations, impactful storytelling and a deep investment in people.
