Mandy Lahey

Mandy Scott grew up in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts where she enjoyed numerous outdoor pursuits including skiing, horseback riding, tennis and hiking. She was also lucky to enjoy the rich cultural offerings of the area and developed a deep love for theater and music. As the youngest of four children, Mandy had many opportunities to explore the U.S. on ski trips, business trips with her parents, family visits and other modes of entertainment. Her entire family of six attempted only one actual vacation together, which was the inspiration for the popular film "National Lampoon's Vacation."

Mandy attended the University of Colorado where she majored in theater and was a member of the ski team. She fell in love with the Boulder area, and and 30 years later, she is still here. These days, Mandy spends most of her time acting in and directingplays, attending her son’s college baseball games and hiking the beautiful mountains of Colorado.

Mandy has been lucky enough to visit Alaska, India, Namibia, South Africa, Brazil’s Pantanal, Patagonia, Costa Rica, the Galapagos Islands and the Amazon River Basin with Nat Hab. The immersion in nature and the beauty of these remote areas and their inhabitants has been a magnificent experience. Mandy is excited to share her love of the natural world, conservation and pure fun as part of the Nat Hab team.
