Jordan Gartner
Seeking a like-minded community, Jordan relocated to Colorado. She completed the 144-hour Fundamentals of Medical Herbalism program at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism and now practices as a family herbalist. Her previous roles included administrative and marketing positions at Moxie Bread Co, a bakery committed to distributing organic heirloom grains and promoting regenerative agriculture. Afterward, she transitioned to an administrative and marketing role at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism upon completing her studies there. thrilled to be at Nat Hab in another support role with an organization taking care of the planet and having an absolute blast in the process. As an Administrative Assistant starting in 2023, she takes joy in serving both people and the planet.
Jordan's travels have taken her from the sea islands of the Deep South to the high deserts of the American Southwest to New England. She she also had the opportunity to explore Switzerland and Germany while visiting family when she was young. Wherever she goes, she seeks to learn more about the area’s native plants, animals and cultures. Her wanderlust encompasses a desire to explore countless destinations, driven by a quest to learn about the animals, landscapes, cultures, communities, and native plants and herbs unique to each place. Jordan's hobbies include hiking, running, backpacking, rigid heddle weaving, gardening, reading and poetry.
