The following year, Paulo relocated to La Paz, Baja California Sur, lured by an internship in shark research. This pivotal experience ignited his transition into becoming a naturalist guide, opening a new chapter filled with thrilling land and sea expeditions. Now, Paulo is a fountainhead of knowledge and enthusiasm, guiding travelers on unforgettable adventures—from swimming with majestic whale sharks, playful sea lions and graceful manta rays to desert hikes, sandboarding and paddleboarding escapades, enchanting bird and whale watching tours, and immersive photographic journeys. Paulo’s attentiveness, knowledge and ability to facilitate meaningful dialogue make every adventure an educational journey, and he is thrilled to join the Nat Hab team as an Expedition Leader in 2024. When he's not guiding, he indulges his passions. Whether mastering bread baking, harnessing the elements while sailing and surfing, or exploring the wilderness, his adventurous spirit remains tireless.
