Weather & Climate in Florida
January and February are the coolest time of year in Florida, although it is still comfortably mild compared to winter in the rest of the country. The days are warm, generally in the 70s, but the temperatures begin to cool into the 60s or even lower in the evening just in time for a good night of sleep. By March and April, daytime temperatures are beginning to reach the lower 80s, but nights are still cool. While rain is always a possibility, overall temperatures are mild and humidity is lower than other times of the year. In most of the coastal areas we will be visiting, warmer afternoon temperatures are offset by cooling breezes off the water.
