Sarah Warren

Sarah grew up in Norwalk, Connecticut, where she spent her childhood summers exploring tide pools, turning over every rock in search of burrowing bugs or crabs, and examining barnacles under the swimming docks, while winters found her on the ski slopes of New England racing her father down mogul runs. While she was earning a degree in business marketing from James Madison University in Virginia, she embarked on her first international travel adventure, visiting 12 countries in three months while studying abroad at the University of Antwerpen, Belgium. Upon graduation, Sarah set her sights on Colorado and landed a job in Denver. From her home in the Mile High City, she spends her free time hiking, skiing, paddleboarding and soaking in the 300 days of annual sunshine Colorado enjoys. Her pup, Irie —aptly named for the Jamaican phrase “everything is as it should be”—is her regular playmate.

Following six years in corporate recruiting and event planning, Sarah’s search for greater purpose (and a dog-friendly office) led her to Nat Hab. On the Operations team, she applies passions for problem solving, logistics and the outdoors to create extraordinary experiences for guests and to leave a lasting impact on our planet. Sarah’s most meaningful travel experiences include facing her fear of sharks by cage diving in South Africa, river kayaking in the Great Smoky Mountains and Glacier National Park with cancer fighters and survivors defying their diagnosis, learning how quickly a monkey can find your snack pocket in Costa Rica’s Manuel Antonio National Park, chasing the rising sun on a hike up Mount Masada in Israel, and avoiding scorpions while night hiking on the bluffs of Big Sur in California. Her biggest adventure to date was eloping to Thailand and Vietnam with her husband Brent—their marriage began with feeding watermelons to elephants, snorkeling at dusk with bioluminescent phytoplankton, and kayaking through the stalactite caves of Halong Bay.
