Mason Brannon

Following his parents around the world, Mason lived in six different countries by the time he graduated high school, returning to the U.S. to finish his senior year in a suburb of Chicago. His early childhood was spent in Caracas, Quito, and New Delhi, vibrant cities that piqued his senses and laid the foundation for his adventurous spirit. His early teens found him living in Singapore and the Netherlands, where he had the opportunity to visit a diverse slate of places in the surrounding areas. You might say this was the start of his guiding career—as a teenager, Mason would often take visiting friends and family on “guided trips” in Europe.

Mason attended Appalachian State University in North Carolina where he earned a B.S. in Recreation Management and an M.A. in Higher Education with a concentration in teaching sustainable develoment. Following a brief period teaching English in Italy, Mason officially began his career in the travel industry. For more than a decade he guided guests on cycling, hiking and adventure tours in the U.S. and five other countries, gaining in-depth experience in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, California, Hawaii and across the Pacific to Thailand, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Japan. Mason’s love for travel and wildlife and sharing those experiences with others is what drives him. His passion for the outdoors keeps him psyched for the next adventure, whether it’s climbing, fishing, taking pictures in the mountains of the West, or planning that next big trip farther from home.
