Kelley grew up in Ontario, where making snow forts and skating on flooded backyard ice rinks were the norm in winter. She enhanced her love for the outdoors through summers spent camping with her family and a host of sports including skiing, street hockey, soccer, softball, cross country and competitive swimming.
When Kelley was in 5th grade, her family moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where her dad took a job in telecommunications. She attended Riyadh International Community School with peers from around the world. During their 4-year stay in the Middle East, Kelley traveled extensively with her family, visiting Africa, Thailand, India, Greece, Portugal, Italy, Turkey & the Philippines. Her parents were passionate about sharing varied local cultures with their children, and these rich experiences instilled in Kelley an enduring love for travel,
adventure and international exploration.
Kelley attended Virginia Commonwealth University, earning a degree in Art Education with minors in Physical Education & Photography. After graduation, the Rocky Mountains were calling, and Kelley moved to Colorado. The plan was to “play” for a year, which entailed skiing, trail running, skiing, camping, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, skiing, and competing in triathlons and trail running….oh, and did we mention skiing?! Kelley is a mountain girl at heart and loves the endless possibilities for adventure that Colorado has to offer.
After 15 years focused on being a mom to three beautiful kids, “growing her own ski buddies” and continuing to hone her skiing, mountain
biking and triathlon skills, Kelley joined Nat Hab as an Adventure Reservations Coordinator. Being part of the Nat Hab family is a perfect
fit, since she works with like-minded adventurous colleagues in an industry she loves.
