Among the oldest mammals on Earth, elephants and rhinos have roamed the African continent for millions of years. Yet these mighty, enduring beasts have become endangered, and some subspecies are threatened with extinction as poaching for their horns and tusks has decimated their numbers. But hope glimmers, with concerted conservation efforts helping these pachyderms step back from the brink. This special safari gives you an intimate look not only at the rhinoceros and elephant, but at the crucial strides being made by local communities to protect and preserve them. Our private and secluded safari camps—exclusively for Nat Hab guests—offer a comfortable, atmospheric base for exploration.
