For nature photographers, the classic western landscapes and wildlife of Yellowstone Country are peerless. Amid steaming springs, great herds of elk and bison roam open meadows as they have done for centuries, stalked by grizzlies, black bears and stealthy wolves. Birds of prey soar above spouting geysers. The Yellowstone River courses through the park's own Grand Canyon, pouring over Yellowstone Falls, while the Snake winds across Jackson Hole where moose browse its willowy banks against the backdrop of the Tetons' famous spires. Our expert photographer guides help you use our high-powered spotting scopes to assist your wolf-tracking efforts on sunrise and sunset shoots in the Lamar Valley. The landscape is a subject in its own right, with bright wildflowers adding pops of color in summer, while golden aspen create a fiery accent in fall.
