This is simply the most far-reaching and inspiring Galapagos photography adventure out there! Spend two full weeks cruising to every corner of the archipelago aboard our privately chartered luxury catamaran, the Natural Habitat Petrel—plus a full day of photography in historic Quito. The Galapagos is a matchless destination for wildlife photographers,. Nowhere else will you find this menagerie of unique animals that aren't the least bit fazed by humans. Walk the beach among sea lions lolling on the sand and marine iguanas dozing in the sun. Photograph blue-footed boobies and bright orange crabs on the black lava as we trace rugged shorelines by panga. Capture portraits of wizened giant tortoises in the highlands of Santa Cruz. And shoot underwater, too, as we snorkel with friendly sea lions, diving penguins, sea turtles, rays, and a vibrant array of fish. Get close to the creatures that so intrigued Darwin, sparking his theory of evolution, as you learn from Expedition Leaders who are expert naturalists and Galapagos wildlife photographers.
