Location
Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa

Sabi Sabi is one of the original architects of attaining the fine balance between tourism and conservation, and Sabi Sabi's Little Bush Lodge is a testament to that commitment. Set among majestic native trees on the banks of the Msuthlu River, a seasonal tributary of the great Sabi River, the lodge is an elegant oasis for those who appreciate remote yet luxurious locales, blending the finest in accommodations seamlessly with its wild African setting. Just six suites are impeccably appointed with every amenity, incorporating a contemporary African flair with classic safari ambience. Each thatched chalet features en suite facilities, indoor/outdoor showers and a private deck for secluded relaxing. After an early morning wake-up with hot tea, guests enjoy adventures into the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, a contiguous private concession adjacent to Kruger National Park. After an exciting safari outing, return to camp to enjoy the swimming pool, a private drink on your veranda, or a relaxing interlude with a book in the lounge. No matter what you do, you'll feel comfortably at home in this magnificent camp, under the guidance of some of South Africa’s finest wildlife conservationists.
Tanda Tula Safari Camp
Location
Greater Kruger Park, South Africa

Tanda Tula Safari Camp offers a gracious experience of the Greater Kruger area, in an elegant setting with a down-to-earth atmosphere. Situated in the heart of it all inside Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, which borders renowned Kruger National Park, the camp provides a most comfortable base from which to explore this quintessential African wildlife destination, featuring the Big Five as well as other big cats and a menagerie of mammals.

Tanda Tula's 12 thatched-roof, canvas-sided suites are secluded under a thicket of majestic trees and connected to a private deck that overlooks the Nhlaralumi riverbed. En suite bathrooms feature a Victorian porcelain soaking tub and both indoor and enclosed outdoor showers. Venture over to the central area to cool off in the swimming pool as you watch buffalo and elephants enjoy the watering hole, or sip an afternoon cocktail from the nearby bar. Feast on traditional braai, or barbeque, in the open-air boma beside the campfire as you are treated to a cultural performance featuring local songs and dances, or choose to dine under the stars next to the river. The main lounge features stylish, comfortable furnishings focused on a log fireplace, plus bookshelves filled with titles for your enjoyment while in camp. A gift shop features safari clothing as well as arts and crafts from the region.

Timbavati, which covers more than 100,000 acres, is known for its diversity of animals including the famous Big Five. During your stay, you are likely to spot a variety of wildlife including elephant, lion, leopard, large herds of buffalo, rhino, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, kudu and the rare wild dogs. Two daily game drives are led by professional guides and trackers. Game drive vehicles accommodate a maximum of 6 guests in order to ensure an exclusive safari experience. Safari walks are a special highlight, too. Your expert guide will help you track game on foot as you explore the wild landscape up close while learning more about the smaller creatures and flora of the region.

Sabi Sabi Selati
Location
Sabi Sabi Game Reserve, South Africa

Sabi Sabi Selati takes you back to a time when railroads spanned the plains of South Africa bearing colonial influences and lavish ways of life. Designed as an authentic 19-century home, this safari haven exudes romance down to every last thread. Selati is esteemed for its ability to capture the essence of an old era, while still maintaining all the modern-day amenities and trimmings expected of a luxury lodge.

Eight charming thatched suites, embedded with traditional furnishings, feature dark woods, heavy rugs, as well as opulent en suite bathrooms with soaking tubs and private al fresco showers. Take a stroll out on your very own private deck for a royal treatment of up-close animal sightings along the banks of the Mshuthlu River. Distinctive world-class meals are served on wooden decks beside the river, in the open-air boma, and in the “farmhouse kitchen”. The tranquil atmosphere encourages guests to retire to the central swimming pool, spa, or fitness center for rest and relaxation after a day of adventure.

Days spent at Selati are filled with wonder and excitement as you embark on drives through the Sabi Game Reserve, and through neighboring Kruger National Park. Nights are quiet, intimate, and magical. With a combination of enchanting wildlife sounds, the soft glow emanating from the fire, lanterns, and candles, and the canopy of stars above, you are inescapably mesmerized. Surrender yourself to supreme comfort out in the bush at Sabi Sabi Selati.
Savanna Lodge
Location
Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa

Savanna's location is as exclusive as the lodge itself. In the western sector of the world-renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, Savanna lies in an area where Big Five sightings are so frequent that it is not unusual to see lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino in a single game drive. The elegantly appointed suites are tucked among indigenous bush and shade trees that provide privacy, quiet and a haven for birds. The epitome of luxury and comfort, Savanna's decor blends colonial and classic elements with handcrafted furniture, dark woods, fine linens and exquisite artwork.

Three Executive and four Luxury Suites have canvas roofs above draped ceilings with permanent walls for quiet and security. All have huge en suite bathrooms with freestanding porcelain soaking tubs and both indoor and outdoor showers. Other amenities include ceiling fans, air conditioning, electronic safe, telephone, mini bar, and tea/coffee station. Private decks look onto waterholes regularly frequented by wildlife. In addition, the larger Executive Suites have plunge pools. The thatched Savanna Suite is ideal for families, with two en suite bedrooms on either side of a spacious shared lounge and large covered patio.

Public spaces at Savanna Lodge are equally inviting. Relax in the lounge with adjacent patio, or at the main pool that surveys lush gardens and a floodlit waterhole where guests are frequently treated to fantastic views of birds and game as they come to drink and bathe. A viewing loft above the lounge makes a peaceful nook for a game of chess as well as a bird's-eye view of the waterhole, while an adjoining library provides wireless broadband Internet access and offers guests the means to transfer digital photographs, freshly captured on their safari, onto CD or DVD.
Dulini Lodge
Location
Sabi Sand Reserve, South Africa

For those seeking an intimate and authentic safari experience with personalized care, look no further. Dulini Lodge is the quintessential home away from home luxury safari camp. Dulini is owner run and managed by Ian, and it is clear he puts his heart and soul into making each guest experience truly special. Here, everything up to the smallest details are thoughtfully planned out to make sure you have a memorable stay.

Situated along the Mabrak River within a riverine grove sanctuary on its own private reserve, Dulini consists of six exquisite thatched suites each with connecting bathrooms, a private deck, and a private plunge pool overlooking the bush. The main lodge is a welcoming communal area where guests can warm up by the fireplace, or enjoy a meal in the dining room paired with a glass of wine from an array of selections within the wine cellar. Guests also have the option to dine outside in the traditional boma for al fresco meals around the fire. If a siesta is not on your agenda, don’t hesitate to take a dip in the central swimming pool, stop by the fitness center, or visit the curio shop.

During your stay, the guides and trackers make sure everyone sees a variety of wildlife. The Sabi Sand is notorious for leopard spotting, black and white rhinos, as well as the rest of the Big Five. Back at camp, you can still get up close and personal with the grazing animals right off your own private veranda. Explore the reserve’s natural beauty beneath ebony and leadwood trees and watch birds and animals in the river below from the bridge too!
Ngala Tented Camp
Location
Kruger National Park, South Africa

Ngala Tented Camp is one of few authentic canvas tented accommodations in South Africa’s Greater Kruger Park. Ngala is a true gem-intertwining all the luxurious comforts from home with an intimate safari experience in the deep wild. Nestled in its own private reserve, crowds and vehicles will never suppress the sights and sounds of the wildlife, ensuring a peaceful stay in seclusion.

Ngala Camp is comprised of 9-tented suites, each raised on a wooden platform overlooking a seasonal riverbed. Enjoy your morning cup of tea on your private veranda and possibly catch a glimpse of elephant or impala grazing nearby. Air conditioning, en suite bathrooms with freestanding bathtubs and private outdoor showers, soft linens, and cozy furniture are splendors included to enhance your stay. The main areas of the campsite consist of spacious lounges with views of the river. At dusk and twilight, the ambiance radiates with elegant romance as the lanterns glow around you. Meals are served in the open-air dining area, or on your private deck upon request. In between safari excursions, you may even be tempted to take a dip in the swimming pool. Though regardless of your location within the camp, the endemic animals will always be close by to welcome you to their lands.

Then, cozy up to the setting sun with a romantic candle-lit dinner in the outdoor boma before retiring to one of 15 elegant suites. The beds are adorned with the softest Egyptian cotton linens and en suite bathrooms feature indoor and outdoor showers. Overhead fans and air conditioning keep your space cool, however, if you are seeking a night of adventure, sleep beneath the stars on your deck’s day beds!
Singita Sweni Lodge
Location
Kruger National Park, South Africa

Camouflaged within its verdant environment, deep in the Lebombo Mountains and on the Sweni River, Singita Sweni is a true sanctuary-an emblem of exclusivity. The lodge harmonizes with the abundant nature by drawing influences from the structures endemic dens, warrens, and lairs create. The beautiful synthesis of bush-derived colors and textures, as well as other elements like timber, intensify your connection with the riverine environment and the animals that dwell within it. At this oasis, the wildlife count is equally as impressive as the thread count.

The main lodge is bright and inviting with floor-to-ceiling windows, a spacious lounge, well-stocked bar, dining area, and evening campfire space. Guests love to utilize the swimming pool and fitness gym as well. Come evening, return to one of six secluded and air-conditioned suites, which feature full bedrooms, living rooms, and en suite bathrooms with a tub and indoor/outdoor showers. You may even want to sleep beneath a canopy of stars on your private deck’s day beds.

The Singita concession is comprised of four distinct habitats, boasting an exceptionally diverse and rewarding safari experience. Guided nature walks, game drives, and mountain biking allow you to explore these regions to the fullest.
