Nat Hab's Private Mobile Camp–Ol Pejeta

Natural Habitat's Private Mobile Camp offers one of the most exclusive and authentic safari experiences available. To sleep beneath canvas in the depths of the African wilderness, under a Milky Way so thick with stars that it looks like clouds, listening for the roar of lions in the distance...well, it's pure magic. Because our camp is mobile, we're able to locate ourselves in pristine areas where wildlife viewing is best. You'll savor thrilling wildlife encounters and intimate moments in nature that you simply can’t get at a typical safari lodge. Yet while our remote tented camp may evoke the ambience of a vintage safari era, it doesn’t mean you sacrifice modern-day comforts.

Immersing our guests in a setting reminiscent of an Africa of bygone days, the camp provides a refined experience in the bush. Each spacious tent has a full bed with deluxe bedding; bedside table and floor rugs; an attached en suite bathroom with wash basin, toilet and safari-style shower; and a private covered veranda for personal relaxing. Imagine Ernest Hemingway or Teddy Roosevelt (though we surely do not hunt) perched on the porch of their own private tents, scanning the savanna for game, and you’ll picture what it's like to stay in our classic mobile camp. 

A crew of experienced safari hosts sets up the camp in anticipation of our arrival, establishing a surprisingly luxurious base from which to explore key wildlife areas. They are on hand to provide for your every need and comfort, whether it's a hot bucket shower on demand, or a hearty meal artfully prepared over the campfire. When it's time to move on to the next destination, the camp is broken down and packed up, leaving no trace of our presence in the remote wilderness.
Naibor Camp

Hidden within a grove of riverine woodland on the banks of the Talek River, sits a tented luxury camp site where the guests and the tranquil nature harmonize under the African sun. Here, in the heart of Maasai Mara Game Reserve, you’ll feel welcomed into a world where the birds and animals are some of your most majestic neighbors.

Main Naibor is a striking confluence of contemporary style, comfort, and hospitality. From the moment you step inside the draping canvas tents, your eyes are greeted with the influence of the woodlands. Spacious king-sized beds made from local fig-wood, sofas, wool rugs, and verandas that overlook the river are just the foundation for your stay. Main Naibor is comprised of 7 tents complete with en-suite bathrooms and safari showers. Each individual tent is cleverly positioned amongst the trees so you can enjoy the forest in complete privacy.

Venture over to the communal lounge where you can put your feet up on the array of sofas and floor cushions after a long day and enjoy a good book from the collection. Unwind further with a complimentary massage from the masseuse, and get cozy under a blanket while the staff surrounds you with lanterns and candles. The ambiance truly sets the scene for a series of delectable meals served from fresh ingredients at any time of the day. Take advantage of refreshing coffee, tea, and other drinks from the bar upon your request while you relax too. Talented chefs accommodate your every desire, regardless of where you wish to dine.

Game drives are of course a major highlight. 4 Wheel drive vehicles maneuver easily over rough terrain while expert guides point out the abundance of wildlife. Cool down with ice cold drinks available at any time from the truck’s cooler, or satisfy your appetite with an “Out of Africa” style picnic in the bush. Hot air ballooning and serene spa days can also be arranged for guests at Naibor. For the women in your group looking for unique artwork or beautifully designed tribal pieces and jewelry, head over to the camp’s boutique.
Rekero Camp

Maasai Mara, Kenya

Rekero Camp enjoys a coveted location near the prime wildlife-viewing site within the Maasai Mara game reserve, close to the confluence of the Mara and Talek rivers, minutes from the main wildebeest crossings during the migration. The camp overlooks large pools populated with hippos and crocodiles and offers some of the best big cat viewing in Africa. This luxury camp accommodates just 12 guests, making it one of the smallest and most intimate in the Mara. Spacious canvas tents have luxury safari-style furnishings in traditional neutral colors, en suite bathrooms, and private verandas with classic director's chairs. Meals are enjoyed together in a large, airy dining tent. A hallmark of the camp is that it offers seclusion in an area that attracts many visitors. It takes time for others who are staying farther away to reach the area, meaning that prime game-viewing times – early mornings and late afternoons – are enjoyed in rare solitude.
Little Governors' Camp

Little Governors' Camp rests in a forest clearing overlooking a water hole near the banks of the winding Mara River, the lifeline for these grassy plains that are home to the world’s most spectacular annual migration. The camp is approached via a boat ride across the river, then an escorted walk through the riverine forest, ensuring the ultimate in quiet seclusion. Observe the constant wildlife drama around the watering hole from the private wooden veranda of your tent.
Little Naibor
Location

Little Naibor is located adjacent to Naibor Camp and is made up of two spacious suites, equipped with a double and twin bedded room, bathrooms, and connected to an elegant lounge with access to a veranda. Each suite has its own private dining area alongside a stunning fireplace and overlooks spectacular views of the Talek River. A dedicated team of staff caters to your every need, while never diminishing the intimacy and seclusion. You can book Little Naibor in conjunction with the main Naibor Camp and its facilities, or it can be booked as an exclusive private arrangement.
