Tanda Tula Field Camp
Location
Greater Kruger Park, South Africa

Evoking the atmosphere of a bygone era, Tanda Tula Field Camp offers a truly exclusive and private safari experience. The wholly mobile camp’s philosophy and practices are similar to those of the early explorer camps of Africa. Tanda Tula Field Camp is set up and taken down for each exclusive-use safari, and the locations will vary throughout the year depending on the season and game patterns. Open to the outdoors beyond, the camp allows you the opportunity to get up close to nature, and guided walking safaris are a special hallmark here.

The field camp is comprised of four explorer tents configured to suit each private group of travelers, accommodating a maximum of eight guests. Each tent has its own outdoor bathroom with hot water bucket shower, eco-toilet and bath amenities. Oil and solar lanterns provide light in lieu of electricity. The camp's ecological operations and light footprint also ensure a low impact on the environment. Cell service is very limited, and guests are encouraged to silence their phones during their stay, to enhance the sense of seclusion and safari authenticity.

A full field bar, dining table and lounge area offer hospitable settings in which to socialize, with campaign-style furnishings inviting relaxation and a personal chef on site to provide fine cuisine. The central fire pit is the ideal gathering spot for convivial evenings under the stars. Your private guide, camp host and dedicated camp staff look after your every need. Activities can be arranged on a whim, and guided walks and game drives can be as long or as short as you choose. Tanda Tula Field Camp is open to guests age 14 and higher.
Waterbuck Private Camp
Location
Greater Kruger Park, South Africa

Waterbuck Private Camp sits within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, which shares an open boarder with Kruger National Park. The region affords guests 135,000 acres of land to explore the diverse wildlife that inhabits it, including the Big Five!
Designed with private groups and families in mind, Waterbuck boasts an elegant, Old World flare with dripping chandeliers and candles, lanterns, silver mirrors, fur rugs, and romantic mosquito nets that drape the large beds. Deep wooden accents and leather finishes are also a prominent feature at this home away from home. A private garden suite and two identical en suite bedrooms are located on the ground floor, while a larger master suite is located on the second level. The patio and pool provide an escape from the sun and hours of play for the children. The traditional boma serves as the perfect setting for a firepit and al fresco dining-prepared for you daily by your very own private chef. Additional luxuries include a library with computers and Wi-Fi, a personal butler, private naturalist guide, tracker, and an open safari vehicle. Guests are also permitted full access to the facilities at its sister lodge, Kings Camp.
Savanna Lodge
Location
Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa

Savanna's location is as exclusive as the lodge itself. In the western sector of the world-renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, Savanna lies in an area where Big Five sightings are so frequent that it is not unusual to see lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino in a single game drive. The elegantly appointed suites are tucked among indigenous bush and shade trees that provide privacy, quiet and a haven for birds. The epitome of luxury and comfort, Savanna's decor blends colonial and classic elements with handcrafted furniture, dark woods, fine linens and exquisite artwork.

Three Executive and four Luxury Suites have canvas roofs above draped ceilings with permanent walls for quiet and security. All have huge en suite bathrooms with freestanding porcelain soaking tubs and both indoor and outdoor showers. Other amenities include ceiling fans, air conditioning, electronic safe, telephone, mini bar, and tea/coffee station. Private decks look onto waterholes regularly frequented by wildlife. In addition, the larger Executive Suites have plunge pools. The thatched Savanna Suite is ideal for families, with two en suite bedrooms on either side of a spacious shared lounge and large covered patio.

Public spaces at Savanna Lodge are equally inviting. Relax in the lounge with adjacent patio, or at the main pool that surveys lush gardens and a floodlit waterhole where guests are frequently treated to fantastic views of birds and game as they come to drink and bathe. A viewing loft above the lounge makes a peaceful nook for a game of chess as well as a bird's-eye view of the waterhole, while an adjoining library provides wireless broadband Internet access and offers guests the means to transfer digital photographs, freshly captured on their safari, onto CD or DVD.
Singita Castleton
Location
Greater Kruger Park

Singita Castleton has been designed to combine the best elements of a private safari lodge with the rustic charms of a country farmhouse. Formerly the family home of the grandfather of Singita safari camps' founder Luke Bailes, Singita Castleton is an exclusive-use lodge set within 45,000 acres of private reserve. The property consists of a main house with communal living spaces, and accommodations located in six individual cottages on the grounds, catering for up to 12 people. The estate is steeped in history, and the lodge exudes that nature, capturing the spirit of the original Castleton house.

Today, Singita Castleton offers the added benefit of extensive high-end facilities and amenities, including a vast garden, rolling lawn, swimming pool, wine cellar, gym, tennis court and spa treatment room. Guests can relax together in the courtyard, gather around the traditional outdoor "boma" or meet in the country-style kitchen. At the same time, the individual cottages allow guests to retreat to the privacy of their own space when they desire. An added bonus is that the house and cottages overlook a waterhole where animals regularly gather to drink.

A stay at Singita Castleton includes a variety of exclusive activities. Guests have their own private field guide and tracker with a private Land Rover for the duration of their stay. Daily game drives provide an exhilarating opportunity to get up close to Sabi Sand's incredible animals, while evening drives reveal the magic of nocturnal Africa. Guided safari walks are also offered. Community visits to a local village, private wine tastings from Castleton's own extensive cellars, and indulgent spa treatments are also popular experiences.
